Being Bipolar: My son is now 17!

Published by atorturedsoul at 7:00 am under My Personal Experiences Edit This

Today is my oldest child’s seventeenth birthday. My baby is almost grown. This is really depressing for me. I only have one more year before my son officially enters adulthood. Where did the time go?

The same little baby I held in my arms is now driving, dating and preparing to enter the world on his own. Will he make the right decisions? Is he ready for the responsibilities of adulthood? I don’t know, but I bet he will handle it much better than I will.

I remember his first words, his first steps, and his kindergarten graduation. In a few short years, he’ll be falling in love and getting ready to have a family of his own.

If you have young children, you think that 18 years is a long time and your children will be with you for what seems like an eternity. Those years end up passing by very quickly and before you know it, they are gone. Hold on to them as long as you can and cherish every moment.

Happy birthday, baby. Momma promises she won’t cry today.

Your allowed to cry…lol. My baby’s only 18 months and I constantly ask myself how she’s gotten so big so fast.

Happy Birthday to your son and Merry Christmas!
