Being Bipolar: Baby, it’s cold outside!
We had a few snow flurries over the weekend. It was nice to finally see a bit of snow but the extreme cold has been miserable. The wind chill factor reached 2 degrees below zero, which is very unusual here in Tennessee. Several of the surrounding counties closed their schools on Friday due to the frigid temperatures. My oldest dog is paper trained to a “litter box”, but the pup refuses so he must be taken outside. He weighs a whopping six or seven pounds now so when he did go out he went right to taking care of business so that he could come back in. He was not the least bit interested in playing in the leaves or frolicking with the cat.
On another note, I have been dealing with a great deal of anger lately. I am trying really hard to keep it under control but I am failing miserably. I’m attempting to stay busy and get things taken care of that need to be done but it seems like every time that I get started I am interrupted. It’s extremely annoying. This only adds to my anger. How in the world am I supposed to keep busy and occupy my mind if everyone keeps bothering me?
I also want to thank everyone who is participating in Bipolar Awareness Month during February. If you don’t know what I am talking about, please read the last two posts and consider participating. I still need volunteers to fill out the questionnaire.
Now if you’ll excuse me, the phone is ringing…again.
