Being Bipolar: I’m back!

This picture was taken at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch on my husband’s cellphone. That’s why it looks so bad. I look huge with my husband’s big old sweatshirt on–but I was warm!
I’m back and I feel so much better! My husband was very sweet and let me sleep late every morning so I was able to get plenty of rest and kick whatever it was I had. I really needed the time to relax. I’m almost 100% now.
On Thursday, we took the camper up and got everything set up. I started soup in the crock pot and then we left to go pick up my daughter’s boyfriend. He’s such a sweet boy and was a big help over the weekend. Friday morning, my sister-in-law and her family arrived with their new pop-up. They picked it up from the dealer and towed it right to the campground for their first trip out. We helped them get set up and then we went in to town so they could pick up a few things they needed. That night, I cooked chili casserole and leftover soup.
We took a trip to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. It’s really beautiful. Did you know that all of her children work? One of her sons runs the ranch and takes care of the animals and one of her daughters runs a convenience store right outside the gates. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera at the camp site and I didn’t get any photos. Guess that means I will have to go back! When we got back, we took the kids fishing. They didn’t catch anything but they had a lot of fun.
A little after noon on Sunday, we started packing up to head home. The dogs were tired and happy to be home but they enjoyed it as well. Our oldest dog, Pebbles, spent an hour laying beside the campfire, which is very odd for her. She hates grass but she happily laid on it to be warm.
Well, that’s how my weekend went. I have to say that now that I am feeling better and well rested I am feeling pretty stable. I’m going to start catching up on things. Have a great day!
